Hire Backs
SKM Law Firm has been quite fortunate to acquire many first class students over the years. Our preference is to develop our firm from within and when the opportunity is right, we enjoy offering permanent positions to new lawyers.
Many of our past students remain with our firm today: Andrea Cooley (2001/2002), Ryan Warren (2004/2005), and David Medcalf (2005/2006). We have also recruited many of our lawyers at the beginning of their careers. Camille Riggs joined the firm in her second year of practice and Suzanne Godin did so after articling in Ottawa. All have developed impressive practices and are key to the success and atmosphere of the firm.
The potential for hire back is great when a high calibre student presents as someone who fits well with our young and dynamic firm.
