Dave was raised in Goderich. He attended The University of Western Ontario where he earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in English and History and also a Master of Arts degree in History in 1984. Dave earned his Bachelor of Laws degree from Western in 1988. He was called to the Bar in 1990, and practiced litigation in London until he joined the firm in 1993. Dave's practice consists primarily of commercial and civil litigation with some criminal defense and Crown prosecution work.
Dave has shared his skills and experience with the profession and community by having taught the Civil Litigation section of the Bar Admissions Course and courses at Fanshawe College. Dave continues to actively lend himself to our community through his coaching involvement with Basketball Ontario and developing future basketball stars and young people. Dave lives here in London with his wife Kelly and daughters Robyn and Kailey.
